Van Dale Pearson, age 82 died November 9, 1990 at Delta. Utah.

Born August 15, 1908 at Meadow to Karl Emil and Lula Jane Bushnell Pearson. Married Norma Jean Chesley December 13, 1930 at Salt Lake City. Graduated Delta High School 1926. Four years at Brigham Young University, becoming an accountant. Employed in Fillmore by James A. Kelly and Son. Moved to Delta in 1933 becoming a successful farmer and cattleman. At his death was on board of directors of Drainage District #4, which he served as president and also as secretary for entire term on the board. Helped outline and supervise construction of present drainage system in Delta area. Member of the board of directors of Melville Irrigation Company for many years and the Federal Land Bank Board of Richfield for 14 years. Served as a member of State Weed Committee for a number of years.Survived by wife, Norma of Delta; Sons and daughter: Reginald C. and Carol, Reno, Nevada; D. Stephan and Janet, Delta; Mrs. Gayle (Karin) Eyre, Richfield; 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild; Brothers andSisters: Mrs. Scott (Nona) Chesley, Delta; Stanley, Meadow, Utah; Daryl, Stanford, California; LuJuana Smith, McComb, Illinois.

Funeral services Monday November 12, 1990 at 11:00 AM at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center, Delta. As per Dale's request there will be no formal visitation prior to the services. Burial Delta Cemetery.
