Maxine Gaddie Daynes, age 78, died November 10, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 7, 1912 in Sugar City, Idaho to Stanley Williams Gaddie and Cristie Sanders Gaddie. Married Byron Woodruff Daynes on June 20, 1936, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died January 18, 1985.Served as a Pink Lady at Holy Cross Hospital. Active in Medical Auxiliary. Patron of the Arts, member of Chi Omega Sorority, and an avid bridge player. Member of the LDS Church and well known for table decorations in Relief Society.

Survived by a son and two daughters, Byron Wilford (Bill) Daynes and wife Kathryn of Provo, Utah; Cristine and husband Michael Rhead of Salt Lake City; and Becky Daynes, Midvale, Utah; five grandchildren, Austen, Marie and Warren Daynes; Stephanie and Jason Rhead; brother, Robert Stanley and wife Mildred Gaddie, Salt Lake City; and a sister, Helen and husband Stanley Rees of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services Tuesday, November 13th, at 12 noon, Larkin Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening 6-8 pm, and Tuesday, one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to: Easter Seal Society of Utah, 331 South Rio Grande Street # 206, SLC, UT 84101.
