Herbert E. Anderson, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 1990 at Gooding Memorial Hospital.

Born September 13, 1924 in Grantsville, Utah; to Charles Herbert and Beatrice Margaret Brim Anderson. Married Rose Kodesh, June 16, 1979 in Ketchum, Idaho. He was a graduate of Grantsville High School and University of Utah. Served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Moved to Idaho in the late 1950's and settled in the Hailey area; in 1988 they moved to Gooding. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by his wife, Gooding, Idaho; one son, M. H. Anderson, Salt Lake City; two step-sons, George Carter, Aurora, Colorado; Raymond Carter, Clearfield, Utah; two step-daughters, Verna Holdeman, Bountiful, Utah; Carolyn Dilworth, Hailey, Idaho; three sisters, Beatrice Stump, Mapleton, Utah; Lois Barrus, Grantsville, Utah; Harriet Nichols, Tooele, Utah; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, two wives and one brother.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Monday at the Hailey LDS Church, with Bishop Timothy Neville officiating. Burial will follow at the Hailey Cemetery. Services under the direction of Demaray's Gooding Chapel.
