Thomas William Taylor, 85, died Wednesday, November 7, 1990 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson.
He was born March 12, 1905 in Price to Heber Calvert and Chloe Williams Taylor. He married Lillian Ivie; later divorced. he married Edna Wightman October 27, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. He was raised and attended schools in Aurora, and lived in Provo for many years. He also lived in West Valley and for the last 3 years in Springville. He was a self employed barber. Bishop of a ward in Ruth, Nevada; and also served as High Priest group leader, and as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River and Salt Lake LDS temples. He enjoyed hunting and all sports. He was an avid Utah Jazz and BYU fan.Survived by wife, Springville; one son, Dr. Roy Taylor, Bountiful; three stepchildren, Mrs. Rex (Renee) Taylor, Spanish Fork; Joe Wightman, San Clamente, Calif.; Brent Wightman, Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Taylor; and Linford Taylor, both Aurora. Preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Charter.
Funeral will be Saturday, November 10, at 12 noon, in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial, Lake View Memorial Estates, Bountiful.
