Robert Benjamin Parsons, age 70, died November 7, 1990 in Salt Lake City, after a long lingering illness.

Born May 17, 1920 in Crescent, Utah, son of Joseph Edward and Edna Pearl Hill Parsons. Married Betty Harris September 10, 1949 in Ely, Nevada. Served in the Coast Guard during World War II. Retired from Kennecott Copper. Member of LDS Church. Avid outdoorsman. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapshooting and a good party.Survived by his wife, West Valley City; two daughters, Dee Lane and husband, Kyle Wulle, Magna; Yvonne Parsons, Oakland, California; one son, Jay and wife Danell Parsons, West Valley City; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Robert (Rob) J. Parsons.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
