Two Central Davis Junior High School students have been referred to juvenile court after being accused by fellow students of trying to sell pipe bombs.

The two were referred for possession of an incendiary device after they were found with the remains of an exploded pipe bomb about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Police Sgt. Rex Brimhall.Brimhall said two other boys had told the school principal, Ross Poore, that the two students were trying to sell pipe bombs. He said when the principal found the remains of an exploded bomb and pipes at the school, he took the students into his office and then notified police.

Police confiscated a container of gunpowder at one of the youth's homes. Brimhall said the two denied they were trying to sell bombs but admitted to exploding a bomb in the back yard of one of their homes.
