"Wonder Through the Pages" is the theme of National Children's Book Week, Nov. 12-18. The Salt Lake County Library System is sponsoring programs at three branch libraries in observance of the week.

Park Library, 4870 S. 2700 West, will encourage children to discover magic books at "Turn Off the TV - Turn on the Books" on Friday, Nov. 16, 3:30 p.m. Kids aged 6 to 12 will also learn to make their own pop-up books at the free program. Registration is required.Ruth Vine Tyler Library, 315 Wood Street, Midvale, will be encouraging book lovers of all ages to write about their favorite book character at "Who's Waldo?" on Saturday, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m. The written results will be displayed at the library.

West Jordan Library, 1970 W. 7800 South, will feature a special "Children's Book Week Storytime" on Saturday, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to celebrate with stories and puppets.
