Surplus supplies for Mexico A cargo plane is packed with 50 tons of medical equipment, including hospital furniture, gauze, dressings and suction pumps before leaving Hill Air Force Base Friday morning for Mexico. The supplies will be distributed to rural Mexican clinics. The humanitarian and public relations mission was arrranged by the American Embassy in Mexico. Robert K. Wolthuis, an Ogden native and deputy assistant secretary of defense for global affairs, led the air mission. Wolthuis said this was the first such airlift from Hill.
