Fifteen blacks were stabbed to death and four were wounded in a vicious factional fight in the eastern province of Natal, police said Friday.

Police said two groups of men clashed Thursday night in Bruntville, a black township 80 miles northwest of the port city of Durban.Police dispersed the groups and found 15 bodies, all with stab wounds. Authorities did not identify the combatants.

In a separate incident, one man was killed and 12 injured when attackers with assault rifles and a hand grenade fired on a bus transporting workers Thursday night in Sebokeng, 38 miles south of Johannesburg.
