Minnie Clark Smith, age 99, died November 5, 1990 in Kanab, Utah. Born November 15, 1890 in Pahreah, King County, Utah to Owen Washington and Harriet Gennet Adair Clark. Married Thomas Washington Smith, June 26, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died May 19, 1952.

She was an active member of LDS Church, serving as Relief Society president. She was an excellent gardener, she was an expert on roses. She also enjoyed quilting, canning and travel.Survivers are her children, Thomas C. Smith, St. George; Thayne C. Smith, Kanab; Mrs. Daryl (Dee) Shumway, Heber; Mrs. Floyd (Alaska) Richards, Tropic; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two daughters and two sons, Nedra Swapp, Gennett Smith, Kent Smith, and Owen Smith; also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services Friday November 9, at noon in Henrieville Ward Chapel, Henrieville, Utah, where friends may call 10:45-11:45 a.m. Burial in Henrieville Cemetery under direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
