James Henry Hayford, Jr., age 66, died November 5, 1990 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born December 8, 1923 in Salt Lake City a son of James Henry Sr., and Viola McCall Hayford. Married Ruth Frances Deans on April 7, 1943 in Farmington, Utah; later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employed by Beneficial Life Insurance Company for 27 years. Owned and operated Hayford Lock & Key with his son, John. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father and he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much.Survived by wife, Salt Lake City; two sons and one daughter, James H. Hayford III, Kaysville, Utah; Mrs. Ronald (Frances) Duffield, Salt Lake City; and John L. Hayford, Las Vegas, Nevada; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Hayford, Salt Lake City; and Paul Hayford, San Diego, California.
Funeral services Thursday, November 8th, 12 noon, Canyon Rim 2nd Ward Chapel, 3100 East 3000 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Wednesday evening 7-9 pm and at the Ward on Thursday, 10:45-11:45 am. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
