Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and dearest friend, Robert Allen Philpot, age 65, passed away Monday, November 5, 1990.
Born March 21, 1925, in Salt Lake City, to John Valentine and Agnes Elnora Wahlin Philpot. On July 6, 1946 he married Evelyn Ione Hoppes, in Boulder City, Nevada; they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 8, 1964.They are the proud parents of five children. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His courageous service earned him four battle stars. He loved his family and was an exceptional provider. He loved working with his hands and became a talented craftsman. Member LDS Church. High Priest Quorum secretary. Shop Steward at Kennecott. He was active in politics and scouting.

Martineau and husband, Jay G., Providence, Utah; sons, Robert A. and wife, Nola, Wells, Nevada; Charles E. and wife, Sue, Redding, California; David T. and wife, Yvonne K., West Jordan; Paul T., West Valley City; grandchildren, Florence M., Eddie, Danielle, Kathy, Amy, John L., Jonathan, Jared, Camillia, Melanie, JoAnn, Mikaela, Breanne, Bobby and Eric; brothers, John Edward and Myron Charles; sisters, Alice Jeanette Harkness, Dorothy Agnes Coon. Preceded in death by his sister, Florence Elnora Kirk.
Funeral Services Friday, November 9, 11 a.m., Grantsville Stake Center, 550 East Durfee Street. Freinds may call Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main, Tooele, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church Friday. Interment: Grantsville Cemetery.
