Carold C. Peterson, passed away November 4, 1990, after a long, hard, valiant fight with the Alzheimer Disease and stroke, was released from this life to return back to his Father-in-Heaven, whom he learned to truly love.

Born September 15, 1916 in Logan, Utah, to James Alma and Esther Luella Christiansen Peterson. Married Mary Nish, June 5, 1937, in Brigham City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, May 15, 1964. Worked for Kennecott, later was self-employed as a painting contractor. Veteran, World War II. Active in various positions in the church. He found great peace and contentment when he worked repairing and painting church buildings. He always had time to help people in need.Survived by his wife; children, Ronald and Patricia, Magna; Mrs. Larry (Nancy) Andersen, West Valley City; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Harold, who was his twin, Magna; Clayton, Logan; Helen Gravette and Lorene Ortez, both California. Preceded in death by son, Val, and a daughter, Gayle Brems.

Funeral services Thursday, 11 a.m., Magna Ward Chapel, 8741 West 3000 South. Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Hyrum Cemetery.
