We honor the life and memory of my husband, our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Fred Walker Bleazard, age 62, who passed away November 5, 1990 at his home in Murray.
Born November 17, 1927 in Mountain Home, Utah, a son of J. William and Louisa May Walker Bleazard. Married Jennie Thacker February 4, 1944 in Duchesne, Utah. Resident of Murray for 40 years. Coached Liberty League baseball for several years. Avid sportsman. Enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially for striped bass at Lake Powell. Member of the LDS Church. Loved working in his garden and raising beef. Had his own successful drywall business and built six homes in the valley.Survived by wife, Murray; two daughters, Mrs. Don C. (Linda) Gardner, Sandy; Mrs. Tom E. (Shawna) Evans, Sandy; two sons, Wayne T. and wife, Sherry, Bennion; Joe T. and wife, Angie, Draper; three sisters, Alice Oman, Boneta, Utah; Rhoda Stanwood, Selma, California; Anna Dee Coupens, Murray; five brothers, Mark, Arcadia, Utah; Jack, Bridgeland, Utah; William, Salt Lake City; Grant, Mountain Home, Utah; Ralph, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brother, Charles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 11:00 to 11:40 a.m. Interment; Murray City Cemetery.
