The country band Sawyer Brown and opening act Travis Tritt will play the Salt Palace at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

Sawyer Brown - which includes Mark Miller, Bobby Randall, Joe Smyth, Jim Scholten and Gregg Hubbard - has a new album titled "The Boys Are Back." A greatest hits set is also on the country charts. For the new album, the band reunited with producer Randy Scruggs, who helped establish Sawyer Brown's sound early in the group's music career. The members also wrote most of the new album's songs. The lead single, "The Race Is On," already hit the top of the country music charts.

Sawyer Brown formed in 1981 when Miller and Hubbard moved to Nashville after attending the University of Central Florida and linked up with Randall and Scholten, who had moved to the area from Michigan.

Saturday's concert is expected to offer fans autograph sessions with the group, as has become a Sawyer Brown tradition.

Country newcomer Travis Tritt's debut album, "Country Club," has been riding the country charts for most of 1990, yielding hits like the No. 1 "Help Me Hold On," "I'm Gonna Be Somebody" and the current single "Put Some Drive in Your Country."
