William Rawson, Midvale, has been named president of the Utah Petroleum Marketers Association for the coming year, succeeding Gerry Richardson, Ogden. Craig Kellerstrass, Ogden, has been named vice president.

The appointments came as the association opened its annual membership conference here Wednesday through Friday. Featured speakers include Bob Ford, former Utah Department of Health Underground Tank Specialist, now with Kleinfleder Engineering. He will speak on underground storage tank regulations.Utah Sen. Fred Finlinson and Jan Bergeson of the law firm Callister, Duncan and Nebeker, will address legal problems associated with underground storage tanks. Another speaker will be R. Kent Moon, vice president in charge of Small Business Affairs for Zions First National Bank. An association spokesman said a discussion on supplier practices is scheduled during the annual meeting out of which will come directions for the association's legislative agenda for the coming session of the Legislature.

The association is a six-state organization representing the petroleum jobbers -wholesalers and retailers - of Utah, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona.
