The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum will discuss global economy and trade during its monthly meeting at noon Thursday, Nov. 8, at Sil's, 2230 N. University Parkway (Cottontree Plaza).

Mark Stoddard of the Jefferson Institute will speak on "Profiting from the Global Economy of the 90s." Stoddard says a world marketing revolution is already occurring, and business people must learn how to read the economic shifts that are turning small companies into overnight empires.Stan Rees, trade specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, will discuss "The Ins and Outs of Foreign Trade" and will give information on services available to U.S. companies who want to go international. Rees is also president of the World Trade Association of Utah.
