An auto-pedestrian accident resulted in serious injuries to a 10-year-old Kearns boy and to three people in two vehicles involved in the Tuesday evening accident at 4535 S. 5600 West.
Matthew Bias, the pedestrian, was in serious condition early Wednesday at Primary Children's Medical Center.Roger Anderson, 51, driver of a southbound vehicle that was struck by a vehicle that hit the Bias boy, was in critical condition early Wednesday in the neuro-critical unit at University Hospital.
Roddy K. Sewell, 32, driver of the northbound vehicle that hit the boy, and his wife, Susan, 34, were both in stable condition early Wednesday in Pioneer Valley Hospital.
West Valley City Police officer Mark Schaerrer said the accident occurred when Bias was apparently crossing 5600 West. He was hit by the northbound Sewell vehicle, which then swerved into the southbound lane, hitting the vehicle driven by Anderson.
