The University of Utah put together a ten-point run in the first game of Tuesday night's match against Weber State, and with that run set the tone for the entire match. The Utes went on to defeat the Wildcats in Utah's first 3-0 win of the season.

Weber State took the early lead in the first game 0-3 but the Utes came back to score the next 10 points and went on to win the first game 15-5. The second game saw the Utes maintain their dominance registering 13 kills against only two hitting errors to register a 15-8 win.The victory takes Utah's record to 7-17 overall. Utah will be looking for its first conference win this coming weekend as the Utes travel to Wyoming this Thursday and Colorado State on Saturday. Utah is 0-6 in the Western Athletic Conference but played closed matches against both the Cowgirls and Rams earlier this season.
