-Carolyn Jeane Stoddard Murray, 48, passed from this earth life on Sunday morning, November 4, 1990.

Carolyn was born December 31, 1941 in South Gate, California to Bert and Jeane Biberston Stoddard. Married Jerry M. Murray January 8, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. While still an infant, she moved with her parents from California to Utah, living in Avalon, Utah in the Uintah Basin. This is where she grew from a child to a beautiful young lady. While still in high school, she met her husband to be, Jerry. Carolyn graduated from Union High School in May of 1960. Her senior year she was class secretary and Homecoming Queen. She attended BYU and was always an active member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous church callings, Primary President, Young Womens President, Relief Society counselor and visiting teacher. She had a real talent for music and was currently serving in the Heber 3rd Ward as Ward Music Coordinator and Primary Pianist. Sang several years with the Choralettes. She was an outstanding seamstress and sewed for many people in and around the surrounding areas.Survived by husband of Heber City; Children: Jodi Murray, Lonny and Heather Murray, all of Heber City; Leslie and Doug Van Wagoner of Sandy; Cory and Linda Murray of Salt Lake City; granddaughter, Lacey Murray; mother, Jeane Stoddard of Murray; brothers and sisters, Melton, Larry, Charles, Randy, Terry, Rodney, Shirley, Anita and Sheri. Preceded in death by her father, Bert.

Funeral Services Wednesday, November 7th at 10 A.M. at the Heber Stake Center, 150 North 200 West. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, 288 North Main, Tuesday 7-9 P.M. and at the Stake Center on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Roosevelt City Cemetery at 1:30 P.M.
