Eliza Cecilia Dredge Rutter, 89, lifetime Malad resident, died Saturday, November 3, 1990 in Malad.

Born December 17, 1900 in Malad, Idaho, daughter of Jesse H. and Eliza Rosetta Kunz Dredge. Married William Henry Rutter March 19, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died February 7, 1978. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; served two missions as well as in many church organizations.Survived by two sons, William J. Rutter, San Francisco, Calif.; J. James Rutter, Pleasant Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Max L. (Ruth) Call, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Laren W. (Helen) Smith, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Nick H. (Karen) Randall, Mesa, Ariz.; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilford J. Dredge, Soda Springs, Idaho; and Calvin C. Dredge, Rupert, Idaho; eight sisters, Mrs. Ellen Castleton, Salt Lake; Mrs. Junius (Mary) Crowther, Orem; Mrs. Ralph (Hettie) Barnes, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Thelma Gibbs, Portage, Ut.; Mrs. Merle (Ruth) Swanson, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Rulon (Rose) Ward, Santa Clara, Ut.; Mrs. James (Norma) Hill, St. George; Mrs. Rosell (Elaine) Mills, Malad, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m., in the Malad LDS 1st Ward Chapel, with Bishop Jered Crowther officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Monday, from 6-8 p.m. and again Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
