Lyman Duane Hamblin, 82, died November 1, 1990 in Hurricane, Utah.

Born August 25, 1908 in Eager, Utah to Lyman Duane, Sr. and Fanny Adeline Noble Hamblin. Married Margaret Gurr August 12, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died August 13, 1985. Married Agnes Dick December 17, 1987 in the St. George LDS Temple. Mr. Hamblin spent his early years in Roosevelt, Wellington, and Provo, he lived in Springville, Utah in 1932 working for Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. for 45 years. Moved to Toquerville, Utah in 1987.Survived by wife, Agnes, Toquerville; three sons and four daughters, Lyman Leslie, Provo; Wallace Duane, Springville; Dennis Curt, Orem; Mrs. Betty Jean Thomson, Bountiful; Mrs. Lanny (Linda Lee) Averett, Springville; Mrs. Ted (Wanda Lou) York, Tooele; Mrs. Mike (Pamela Sue) Logan, of Hurricane; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step son and two step daughters, Dr. John William Burr, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Chuck (Connie) Smith, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. David (Kathleen) Keate, Salt Lake City; one brother, Theo Noble; two sisters, Mrs. Therold (Erma) Brook; Mrs. Buck (Molly) Holman, all Las Vegas, Nev. Preceded in death by two sons, eight sisters, two brothers and four grandchildren.

Funeral services Monday, November 5, 1 p.m., Springville 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Wheeler Mortuary, Springville, Sunday evening, 6-8 p.m. and at the chapel on Monday, from 12 noon until services. Interment, Payson City Cemetery under direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
