Lillian Hayes Felt, 87, died Thursday, November 1, 1990, at her home.

Born August 24, 1903 in Rigby, Idaho, to Frederick Richard and Grace Black Hayes. Married Harold B. Felt, June 11, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had served as a Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, ward and stake Beehive director, member Box Elder Stake choir, Golden Gleaner choirs and ward choirs. Active in genealogy work. Member of the Civic Improvement Club. Charter member Beta Sigma Phi in Utah. Recently given the International Award of Distinction. Active in Bond Drives in World War II, Red Cross blood drawings, polio treatment training and school vaccination clinics. She was a member of the Sunflower Camp of DUP. Member Utah Historical Society. She and her husband shared their mutual talents with the community and their church.She is surivived by her husband, Brigham City; son, Richard E. Felt, Brigham City; daughter, Mrs. Cordell (Sharlene F.) Nelson, Provo; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Clifford T. Hayes, Roy; Archie L. Hayes, Rigby, Idaho; Blanche H. Lockard, Brigham City; Wanda Hayes, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Preceded in death by one son, Harold Blaine Felt, Jr.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 12 Noon, Brigham City Ninth Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at Peterson Funeral Chapel in Brigham City, 634 East 200 South, Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery.
