The Utah Operations Center of Key Services Inc., the data processing subsidiary of Key Bank of Utah, has added 75 jobs.

Key Bank President Ross E. Kendell said the jobs were added when most of the data processing for Key Bank of Idaho was transferred to Utah."Even though many of these jobs are clerical, there are several significant management positions," said Kendell. "These new Utah jobs have had a positive impact on the Salt Lake-area economy since all but four of these positions were filled by local applicants."

Checks and deposits made at Key Bank of Idaho's 34 branches are now picked up daily and shipped by air to the Salt Lake center, which then completes the proof, encoding and collections of the items.
