Ingo R. Titze will discuss "Voices of Humans and Machines" at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Harris Fine Arts Center's Madsen Recital Hall at Brigham Young University in Provo. His free lecture will cover such subjects as vocal image personality, vocal power and new dimensions of voice synthesis.

Titze is a visiting faculty member from the University of Iowa, where he is a professor of speech pathology and audiology. He is also an author and editorial board member of several magazines, and has been featured on Cable News Network's "Science and Technology Today" and "Quantum."
