Honduran anti-narcotics agents seized 37 pounds of Colombian cocaine and confiscated machines capable of printing counterfeit money during a raid in Tegucigalpa, a police spokesman said Saturday.

One Honduran suspect was killed when agents entered a house Friday in search of the drugs, and a Honduran and a Salvadoran were arrested, a spokesman said.Police said drug traffickers planned to use the printing machines to make $6 million in counterfeit currency and travelers checks.

The cocaine, shipped to Honduras from San Andres, a Colombian island, was to be smuggled to the United States, police said.
