Snow, a native of St. George, is vice president and director of development at Brigham Young University. He lives in Provo.
Snow, 60, served in the state Senate from 1973 to 1985 and was majority leader from 1981 to 1983. Snow served on the following committees: State and Local Affairs, Higher Education, Appropriations Subcommittee on Government Operations, and Community and Economic Development.Snow recently completed 12 years as chairman of the Utah Constitutional Revision Commission, established by the governor and Legislature to recommend changes in the state constitution.
Snow is president and a trustee of the Utah Technology Finance Corp., created by the Legislature in 1983 to foster growth of technology-based business in Utah.
Snow has a bachelor's degree in political science from BYU, a master's in public administration from the University of Minnesota and a doctorate of public administration from the University of Southern California.
Snow is married to Donna Jean Dain. They are the parents of six children.
