The American Soybean Association has chosen Evans/Kraft, Seattle, a subsidiary of Evans Communications, 110 Social Hall Ave., to handle its first advertising and promotion campaigns with an estimated billings of more than $13 million.

Steve Drake, association executive director, said Evans/Kraft will work with ASA and its 26 affiliated state associations to develop promotional programs funded by a new nationwide soybean promotion and research program Congress has included in the 1990 farm bill.Evans/Kraft was selected from 26 agencies seeking the account. This is the largest account in Evans' history and will bring the company to more than $200 million in annual billings.
