Short movies by local independent and student filmmakers will be shown free to the public each Saturday through November at Bistro to Go, 271 S. Main St. Show times are 10 and 11 p.m.

The films include narrative, documentary and experimental works. There will also be a night of video shorts on Nov. 17.Here's the schedule:

Nov. 10 - "Inhuman," by Ryley Fogg; "Legalize It" and "Peyote Jesus," both by Thomas Camoin.

Nov. 17 - "Clay Study #2," by Annie Kocherhans; "Homeless," by Charlene Rider; "Take," by Ryley Fogg; "Trouser Trout," by Eric Simon; "Dancescape," by Scott Fechner.

Nov. 24 - "Portrait of a Young Girl With Flowers," by Sharon Ashcraft; "Nut Feed," by Verna Huiskamp; "The Director," by L. Flint Esquerra.
