Six football players at San Jose State face criminal charges in two separate incidents at a nightclub.

Five players - guard Chad Hymel, 22; linebacker Everett Lampkins, 23; linebacker Lynell Mayo, 22; wide receiver Gabe Smith, 22; and center Brian Woods, 21 - were charged with assault and battery and are scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 15 in Santa Clara County Municipal Court.The five players got into a brawl with bouncers at the Oasis nightclub on Sept. 30, according to a police report. Police cited and released each player at the scene.
