Supporters of ousted Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto rejected on Friday appeals to boycott Parliament and grudgingly agreed to take their oaths.

Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party suffered a stunning defeat in the Oct. 24 elections that brought a right-wing coalition to power. She has accused her opponents of massive vote fraud, although the claims have yet to be substantiated.

The conservative Islamic Democratic Alliance, a loose-knit coalition of 18 parties united only in their contempt for Bhutto, will form Pakistan's fifth civilian government in 43 years.

Nawaz Sharif, 41, will be the next prime minister.
