A 31-year-old Taylorsville man suffered third-degree burns over 95 percent of his body Friday after he doused himself with gasoline and lit a match.

Salt Lake County Fire Captain Rick Ringwood said the man was emotionally distressed when he set himself on fire near his home at 2680 W. Sharon Drive.The man, whose name has not been released, was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to University Hospital. He is in critical condition at the hospital's burn center.
