President Bush will meet with Chancellor Helmut Kohl on Nov. 18 in Germany, Kohl's spokesman said Friday.

Spokesman Hans Klein said the visit would probably last a few hours and would likely occur somewhere in the vicinity of Kohl's hometown, Oggersheim. Klein said preparations were still under way.On Thursday, the White House said Bush will go to Paris Nov. 19-21 for a 34-nation arms control summit.

The projected centerpiece of the summit will be the signing of the Conventional Forces in Europe treaty, the most sweeping arms control accord in history.

It would set limits on tanks, anti-aircraft artillery and various other categories of non-nuclear weapons from the Atlantic Ocean to the Ural Mountains of the Soviet Union.
