Three two-year vocational scholarships of $1,000 per year are being offered by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, according to officials of the Bountiful Lodge No. 2442.

The scholarships, provided by the Elks National Foundation, will be awarded on the basis of student motivation, need, skills and grades. While graduating high school seniors may apply, the program is not limited to high school students. Older students who have worked for a time since high school are encouraged to apply. The program is open to male and female, married and single students.Students must submit original applications that are available at local Elks lodges no later than Nov. 24.
