Hawthorne Academy, a division of Hawthorne University, has been approved for participation in the PLATO high school student loan program.
Parents who desire a private school experience for their children may obtain low-interest, long-term loans of $1,500 to $25,000 for full-time high school students.Loans are awarded on credit record, not "needs analysis." PLATO loans are offered by the University Support Services, an arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Rigid criteria are set for participating educational institutions.
