Karma Dunford Weston, 97, died Wednesday, October 31, 1990 at her home in Logan.
She was born May 13, 1893 in Bloomington, Idaho the daughter of James Lehi and Eliza Jacobson Dunford. She married Herbert Robinson Weston on June 11, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 25, 1974. She attended the Fielding Academy in Paris, Idaho. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Seagull Chapter, Charter Member of the Logan Booklore Club, Logan Golf and Country Club and President of the Central Milling Co. of Logan. She was a member of the LDS Church, having served as Primary president, Relief Society president, Officiator in the Logan Temple for 20 years and on the Cache Old Folks Committee.She is survived by four sons and four daughters, Herbert Roscoe Weston, Logan; Mark Dunford and Lois Weston, River Heights; Todd Garff and Joyce Weston, River Heights; James Richard and Gaye Weston, Logan; Thelma W. Thorpe, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Perc (Eliza) Darley, Logan; Mrs. Odell (Gwen) Peterson, Logan; Mrs. Duane (Venice) Fetter, Page, Arizona; 79 grandchildren; 144 great-grandchildren; 19 great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Nellie Horlacher and Lena Wallentine, both of Logan.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 1990 at 2 p.m. in the Logan LDS 5th Ward Chapel (502 East 300 North) with Bishop Jerry Allen conducting. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 East Center) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
