Ann Pearson Douglas, 68, of Loveland, Colorado, died October 29, 1990.

Born October 10, 1922 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Anna J. and Erick A. Pearson. With her family, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1925 where she lived until she moved to Los Angeles, Calif. There, she married William "Bill" Douglas on October 31, 1941.Preceding her in death was her husband in 1983, her father in 1970 and her mother in January 1990.

Ann attended Salt Lake City public schools, graduating from South High School. Following graduation, she attended Henager Business College and Long Beach City College. A secretary by profession, she always considered being a wife, mother, and homemaker her true job. With her husband and her mother, she moved to Loveland, Colorado from Long Beach, Calif. in August of 1982. An active member of the LDS Church, Ann served in many positions in the church throughout her life. While in California, she served as ward Relief Society president and also stake first counselor. From 1984 until January 1989, she edited a single adult newsletter for members of the church. She wrote and published an estate diary booklet and gave seminars on what loved ones should know when they are left alone. The last few years of her life she devoted herself to an exploration of her heritage and was compiling this information and planned to have a book published.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Dianne S. Culver and husband, Andrew, Lorraine Stahlin and husband, George, all of Loveland; her son, Jay W. Douglas and wife, Lynn, of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Catherine, Celeste, Craig Culver, Corin, Jason, Justin Douglas, and Erick and Brian Stahlin; two brothers: Roy E. Pearson and wife, Berley, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Clifford H. Pearson and wife, Gladys, of Winston, Oregon.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., November 3, 1990 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, one hour prior to services. Funeral services under the direction of Kibbey-Fishburn Mortuary in Loveland, Colorado, were held November 1, 1990.
