Our loving husband and father, Louis Phillipoom, passed away at home October 27, 1990. We love him and will miss him greatly.

Born July 19, 1928 in Beverwyk, Netherlands to Hendricus and Louise Phillipoom. Served in the Dutch Army in WW II, immigrated to New Zealand, where he met and married Aso Semu; marriage was solemnized in the New Zealand LDS Temple. Served as a bishop, temple worker. Y.M. President, and in many other callings in the LDS Church. Brought his family to the U.S. in 1964. He loved his country dearly. IN 1978, he started Phillipoom Construction with his sons. He believed in hard work and honesty.He is survived by his wife, Aso Phillipoom; three daughters and three sons; 18 grandchildren; and many friends.

Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m. Holladay 18th Ward Chapel, 2625 East Milo Way (4910 So.). Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. and Tuesday, one hour prior at the church. Funeral directors, MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary.
