A Farmington man and a Dixie College nursing student have been killed on Utah roads.
The man, 35, was struck and killed while riding his bicycle on the I-15 frontage road in Centerville early Wednesday morning, according to the Davis County Sheriff's Department.The accident occured shortly before 7 a.m., dispatchers reported, and is being investigated by the Utah Highway Patrol. Investigators had not released any information on the victim's identity or other details about the incident.
A Dixie College nursing student was killed in a truck rollover on I-15 Monday near Hurricane, Washington County, the UHP said in a United Press International report.
The victim, identified as Sarah Yates, 19, of Brigham City, was a passenger in the truck, driven by Paul Raish, 24, of St. George. Yates was trapped inside the pickup when it swerved out of control and flipped on its side at the I-15 Hurricane exit, the UHP said.
Raish was treated at a St. George hospital and released, troopers said.
