Floyd W. Davis, 76, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away October 30, 1990 to join his beloved wife, Madge.

Born June 25, 1914 at Lake Point, Utah to Brigham and Eliza Garrard Davis. Married Madge Talbot in Tooele, Utah on November 10, 1934. She preceded him in death March 5, 1985. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed the outdoors. Loved his yard and flowers, and was an excellent cook. He was a friend to everyone with whom he came in contact. Retired from Kennecott Copper on February 1, 1977, after many years of service.Survived by daughters, Mrs. Larry (Betty) Morgan, Connie Perry, both of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, LaMar Davis, Tooele; sisters, LaVon Vorwaller; Mabel Buckingham, both of Magna.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 1990, at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to the services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery. He will be greatly missed by all.
