Brandon Hill of Provo, and Kim Buck of Cortez, Colo., were the two fastest swimmers in the annual Halls Crossing to Bullfrog swim at Lake Powell earlier this week. Buck was the fastest overall and won the women's division with a time of one hour, 26 minutes, and 35 seconds. Hill's time was 1:27.33.

The 42 entrants ranged in age from eight to 60, and included one swimmer who was blind. Swimmers started at Halls Crossing and swam the seven miles to Bullfrog. All 42 swimmers finished the race.
