The Intermountain Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will hold its regional conference Friday, Nov. 2, at 8:15 a.m. in the Doubletree Hotel. The cost is $60 for members and and $75 for non-members.

In addition to five panel discussions on entrepreneurship, public relations for professional services, ethics, lobbying and public relations for non-profit organizations, the luncheon speaker will be Howard Berkes, a correspondent for National Public Radio. He will speak on the role of public relations in covering such major news stories at the Mount St. Helens eruption and the 1988 Olympic Games.
