Alice Whitby Carlisle, 84, died October 28, 1990 in American Fork, Utah.
Born December 29, 1905 in Alpine, Utah to Thomas Alvin and Alice Cordilia Moyle Whitby. Married Paul Shepherd Carlisle October 24, 1924, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 19, 1974. Life-long resident of Alpine. Member LDS Church, active in all organizations, former Stake Relief Society President and Provo Temple Worker. Made Temple Burial Clothing for many years. She was employed at the Alpine Store and by the Alpine School District for 17 years as a/cook and a secretary.She is survived by a son and two daughters, Mrs. M. Lynn (Helen) Norberg, Riverside, Calif; Reid Kay and Nancy Carlisle, Kent, Washington; Mrs. Lynn M. (Nola) Paulson, Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; six brothers and a sister, Mrs. Helen McGregor, Norco, California; Ivan Whitby, Anderson, California; Mrs. Evelyn Jensen, American Fork; Mrs. Mae Morgan, Salt Lake; George LaVerl Whitby, Payson; Ray Whitby, Heyburn, Idaho. Preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be Friday, 11 a.m. in the Alpine Third Ward, 165 North 100 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial in the Alpine City Cemetery.
