A University of Utah student from Kaysville was named as Miss Davis County Fair during a competition Wednesday night.
Sherri Seaman, 25, was crowned during the pageant, where she sang "City Lights" from the Broadway musical, "The Act." She is majoring in communications and public relations at the University of Utah.The daughter of Raymond A. and Janice Kay Seaman will represent Davis County at the Utah State Fair Pageant in September. She is a graduate of Davis High School
"I am so excited and proud to represent Davis County," Seaman said.
Named as first attendant was Kristi Monson, 18, of West Bountiful. She recently graduated from Viewmont High School and will attend Brigham Young University this fall, where she will major in musical dance theater. She performed "Adele's Laughing Song" from a Richard Wagner opera during the pageant
She is the daughter of David and Jedda Monson.
Sharon Day, 18, of Centerville, was named second attendant. She is a student at University of Utah on a ballet scholarship and is majoring in fashion merchandising. She is the daughter of David and Elayne Day. She performed ballet during a portion of her talent sequence.
