Everett James Roberts, 67, died October 24, 1990,of a lingering illness.

Born September 3, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Garrwood Rex and Thelma A. Roberts. Married Joanne Done, June 13, 1948. Veteran World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre. Long time career with the automobile business for over 45 years. Held many positions with Streator Chevrolet, Price Carlson Pontiac, Laury L Miller Pontiac and owner of Roberts Pontiac with his two brothers in Tooele. He loved fishing, hunting and golfing. He loved selling, people and family.Survived by wife; mother, children, Mrs. Tim (Vicki) Latimer, Salt Lake City; Roberta Roberts, Phoenix, Arizona; Rodney Roberts and wife, Sherrie, Michael Roberts and wife, Linda, Jody Krogh, Mrs. Cabot (Tana) Jennings, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kim (Stacey) Pearson, Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale Roberts and wife, Cleo, Salt Lake City; Ralph Roberts and wife, Carol, Santa Barbara, California; sisters, Mrs. Jack (Joyce) Knaphus; Mrs. Judd (Judy) Myers, both of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his father and a sister, Darl.

He was a wonderful husband, father and friend to all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., October 27, 1990 in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive. He will be dearly missed. We love you. Funeral Directors: Wasatch Lawn Mortuary
