Hogle Zoo official Pia Byrd spends some "quality time" with a pair of youngsters, a sea lion named Bartley and a harbor seal named Bailey. Bartley is the first sea lion pup to survive at Hogle Zoo, despite a severe infection he developed just 3 days after birth, which caused him to be taken from his mother to be treated. Bailey, born eight days later, was taken from his mother because she had no milk. Both pups will be raised together for companionship in brick building west of main concession stand.
