Vice President Dan Quayle will visit Utah on Thursday, the day after first lady Barbara Bush visits the state.

Stephen M. Studdert, campaign chairman for Republican Karl Snow, said Quayle will hold a rally at the Provo Airport at 2 p.m. Thursday for Snow."We're thrilled and we're honored that the vice president would come and visit Utah, and especially pleased that he would come to Utah County - which is the central part of the 3rd District," he said.

Studdert added, "It's a great honor to us that he cares enough about Karl Snow and about the 3rd congressional district to take time at this very busy time to visit us in Utah."

Bush will be in Salt Lake City on Wednesday to campaign for 2nd District Republican Genevieve Atwood, and to address the 39th annual Adult Education Conference at the Salt Palace.
