One of Utah's newest quadruplets has died.
Jeremy Kenneth Hsu, son of Ching-Jing (Ken) and Diana Lynn Hansen Hsu, died Tuesday at the University of Utah Hospital of septic shock, an overwhelming infection. The infant and his three sisters - Sherry Chen, Tiffany Lee and Leslie Fan - were born 12 weeks premature on July 12. The three girls are listed in good condition at the U. Hospital.
"We really felt that Jeremy was sent here to protect his sisters and to make sure their arrival was safe. We really feel like he stayed long enough to make sure that they were OK and then went on," his mother said. "At first it (his passing) was shocking, but now - with the help of family and friends - we feel comforted."
