Anna Marie Grace Ostler, 86, died October 26, 1990 at her sons home in Highland, Utah.
Born September 20, 1904 in Salt Lake City to Isaac Henry and Kathyrn Sorensen Grace. Married LeRoy Taylor Ostler August 11, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 17, 1967. Attended East High, graduated from BYU in 1928. Following graduation, taught school in the Vernal area until her marriage. She raised her family in Nephi, later moved to Provo to care for her sister. She will be remembered for her quick wit and her service to her fellow men. Was a devout member of the LDS Church, served as Relief Society President; and was a willing worker in many other church related callings. Served as a temple ordinance worker in Provo for over six years and was a faithful visiting teacher. She enjoyed her family, and being a homemaker and found great satisfaction in helping others. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp Mountain View.Survived by sons, LeRoy R. Ostler; and Paul H. Ostler, both Bountiful; David S. Ostler, Salt Lake City; T. Morris Ostler, Provo; Steven M. Ostler, Highland; her daughters, Grace McKendrick, Glendora, Calif.; Karen Hemenway, Cheney, Wash.; Kathi Ware, Altaloma, Calif.; 43 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, John T. Ostler, and sister, Helen Hoyt.
Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., Nephi 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. or at the ward chapel Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi.
