Rainbow Collection, a women's barbershop quartet representing Utah's Mountain Jubilee chapter, won eighth place in the 1990 International Women's Barbershop Quartet competition, held last Saturday on the concluding day of the Harmony International convention.

Among the 49 quartets competing, the champion was Panache from Los Angeles. The Swing Street Quartet from Detroit/Toledo was second, with Showcase Quartet from Baltimore in third place.First among the 26 choruses competing was the Ramapo Valley Spotlight Chorus, based in Upper Saddle River, N.J. Second was the Seven Hills Chorus from Cincinnati - the second win for that city on Saturday, close on the heels of the Cincinnati Reds' World Series triumph. The Kansas City Chorus came in third.
